Dean Smith is a man who knows what he wants, and that is to marry his girlfriend Jennifer Kessel.
In fact, Dean was so sure, that he proposed to his girlfriend every day for a year without her even knowing- that’s 365 proposals!
It all began on January 8th, 2014 when Dean decided to videotape himself holding up a whiteboard asking her to marry him every single day for a whole year.
He would find time to capture the proposal during everyday things, while he was brushing his teeth, eating breakfast or folding laundry.
It all culminated a year later on Jennifer’s birthday to an epic reveal during a family holiday to Aruba.
Jennifer’s family, who were all in on the plan, led her down to the beach where she watched the heart-felt video.
“I just wanted to let you know how much I love you, how incredibly smart, funny, caring and stunningly beautiful you are,” Dean said in the video.
“To me, you are perfect.”
Dean revealed that he made the video the day he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jennifer.
“Jennifer, I love you more than anything in the world,” he said.
“I know that you’re the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, but I want the timing to be perfect and make this moment special. For the next year, I’ll show you how much I love you and that you’re in my thoughts every day. I want to marry you.”
Dean then got down on one knee and proposed for the 366th time, and Jennifer accepted!
It was an emotional time for everyone, even unrelated guests who witness the stunning proposal, with one person yelling: “We all want invitations to the wedding!”
