She’s an international supermodel and the Aussie face of L’Oréal Paris and now Megan Gale is about to add ovarian cancer campaigner to the list of her achievements.
Working in conjunction with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation and L’Oréal Paris, Megan will head a new campaign to raise awareness for the disease that claims the life of one Australian woman every 10 hours.
“The OCRF’s vital research into ovarian cancer is an amazing cause that both I and L’Oréal Paris strongly believe in… it’s a devastating disease,” Megan said.
“For L’Oréal Paris, their partnership with the OCRF is very special and I’m honoured to be involved with their fight in any way I can.”
While awareness of the disease has in recent years, ovarian cancer continues effect Australian women with approximately 1,200 Australian women are diagnosed each year.
Megan will be campaigning alongside the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation throughout the month of September and will face of a major national outdoor campaign created to drive awareness and vital research donations for ovarian cancer.
