Best dressed

It was the AFL night of nights and all eyes were on the stunning red carpet arrivals. Westfiled stylist Alyce Cowell talks us through her top five Brownlow Medal red carpet looks.

Carly looked breathtaking in a figure-hugging black peplum dress. The cap sleeve, high neckline and slick of red lipstick took it up a ‘glam’ notch too.

Finally – a print! Lauren was stunning in her art deco-inspired gown and nailed the popular low back, deep neckline trend with great success. She dazzled from head-to-toe with fab accessories to match – I have my eye on that clutch and those earrings!

The glowing partner of Corey was absolutely one of my favourites of the night. Adding yet another baby bump to the red carpet, she dressed perfectly for her shape with draping, a deep V neckline and a BIG leg spit – showing off the best assets of her body.

Jaw-dropping! I adored Jasmine’s look – the pop of colour was stunning and bang on-trend. The deep neckline balanced with a long sleeve and flattering draping made for a simple, understated glamour and certainly one of the best looks on the night.

There’s no wonder Mrs Chris Judd has been named ‘best dressed’ for the past seven years on the Brownlow erd carpet! Steering away from the familiar corset of late, she went for an all-white gown (which seemed to be one of the hottest colours of the carpet), with a high neckline, long sleeve, back cutout and hardware detailing over the shoulders and hips. Refreshing and oh-so-amazing.
