Angelina Jolie takes daughters Christmas shopping

Only days after her visit to Australia, Angelina was seen reunited with her daughters Shiloh, 8, and Zahara, 9, as they hit the shops in New York City.

Angelina,39, and the girls were all smiles as they hit the shops as they were no doubt thrilled to be reunited after having been separated while Angelina was in Australia with hubby Brad Pitt for the world premiere of Unbroken in Sydney last week.

There was no sign of the distressed and tired looking Angelina that, as revealed exclusively by Woman’s Day,was seen caught in a tense argument with Brad on the balcony of their Sydney hotel room.

It’s believed that the tensions were largely down to Ange’s intense work schedule in the past year as she moves away from acting to step behind the camera.

Angelina told Du Jour magazine last week that: “I’ve never been comfortable as an actor. I’ve never loved being in front of the camera.”

She continued: “I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier.”

Angelina was seen looking all smiles with daughters Shiloh and Zahra in New York only days after her balcony blowout with Brad in Sydney.

The World War II epic Unbroken, which was also largely shot in Australia, in NSW and Queensland, is Ange’s second outing as director. Her third, titled By the Sea, which co-stars her hubby Brad, is currently filming and has kept her schedule hectic for most of the year. The couple even headed straight back to filming as part of their honeymoon on the island of Gozo, in Malta.

When Woman’s Day questioned Angelina about married life, since tying the knot with Brad in August, Angelina kept her response to reporters vague.

“It makes us happy to be married,” Ange said. “…If that makes any sense. I don’t think we needed it but it feels… he’s my husband.”
