The Duchess was in Kensington in London to tour the newly reopened Kensington Leisure Centre where she chatted to 17-year-old Martina McDonagh – a wheelchair-bound teen that she met with at the centre.
“It’s moving all the time. I can feel it kicking now,” Catherine told the teenager of the royal baby, who is due on April 20th.
As to the gender of the bub though, Catherine, 33, was keeping mum!
“I told her I hoped it was a girl but she said she doesn’t know yet,” Martina said afterwards. “She said it was moving around a lot.”

Catherine looked lovely in a soft blue coat by maternity label Seraphine (which unsurprisingly sold out almost straight away despite a hefty $359 price tag) and could be seen with her hand on her belly, protective of her growing baby bump.
Kensington and Chelsea Council, who manage the leisure centre presented the Duchess with lifetime membership for her whole family including the future bub, and also gave Prince George a very special inflatable rubber duck for swimming lessons.
Prince William has previously revealed his aspirations for young George’s swimming abilities and the new leisure centre is just around the corner from William and Catherine’s home at Kensington Palace – so we wonder if the one-year-old Prince ever drops in with his nanny to have a splash around!
“The Duchess was talking about Prince William learning to swim here and she said she hoped Prince George can come here to learn too,” said the council’s Cabinet member Tim Ahern.
“If George goes to school at Wetherby [primary school] or one of the other local schools, he will almost certainly come here. Wetherby will use it. All the local private and council primary schools. Book all the lessons that we have.”
In addition to visiting the leisure centre, the Duchess also visited volunteering charity Family Friends where she attended a coffee morning with mums and children. She also visited Kensington Aldridge Academy – her second visit to a school in less than a week.
