Cheeky Prince Harry welcomes baby news, will now be fifth in line to the throne

Prince Harry will be knocked down the line of succession to fifth once his new niece or nephew is born.

As sibling to Prince George, who is third in line to become King, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s little Prince of Princess will be born fourth in line to the British Royal throne.

But our favourite red headed royal, who turns 30 this month, is more than happy to continue his reign as the spare to the heir.

In fact, Uncle Harry has poked fun at his big brother, Prince William, who is set to become a dad for the second time, while attending the Invictus Games.

“If it’s a girl…I’d love to see him try to cope with that,” the cheeky royal said in true little brother style.

“But in all seriousness, I hope my sister-in-law gets better soon and the two of them have the opportunity to, I suppose, go through the whole thing, the whole process, again in a little bit of peace and quiet!”

The playful Prince also commented on his adorable nephew Prince George, who will one day be King.

“I think George will be thrilled about having a brother or sister, so we’ll wait and see as the family continues to grow,” he said.

Clarence House confirmed the Prince William and Catherine are expecting their second child yesterday evening.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child,” the statement read.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

Catherine, who had a difficult first few months of pregnancy with her first child Prince George, is once again suffering from severe morning sickness.

“It’s a pretty horrible thing to have go through,” Harry said.

Prince Harry also confirmed that last time he saw Catherine she was “OK,” but “She’s doing better now.”
