Home And Away ends 2014 with explosive season finale

Home And Away has once again ended its year with an explosive cliffhanger.

Fans of Australia’s number one soapie were no doubt left on tenterhooks during the movie-length episode as some of the show’s main characters including Ricky, Sasha, Kyle and Leah are involved in a horrific bus crash.

And with a proud history of delivering gut-wrenching and dramatic season finales, tonight certainly didn’t disappoint.

In one of the most dramatic storylines we’ve seen all year and capping off a season packed with drama, deceit and excitement, Nate’s estranged and mentally ill wife Sophie tries to attack her former husband before causing a major road accident.

Chatting to the Daily Telegraph about shooting the season’s intense ending, Kyle Pryor who plays Dr Nate Cooper said he felt a strong sense of responsibility.

“We did 12 or 13 scenes in that day and it was a big challenge emotionally as well as technically,” He said.

“I felt a strong sense of responsibility in playing that (scenes involving mental instability and violence).”
